Lawton, OK: Lawton CoC president death appears murder-suicide, LPD say

LAWTON, Okla. – The president of the Lawton-Fort Sill Chamber of Commerce, Shelia Lee, and her husband, James, were both found dead in their home Monday and police says it appears to be a murder-suicide.
Both victims were shot to death and guns were found in the home, but beyond that, they are not giving out any information as to what led to the shootings.
Police say the investigation began when Shelia Lee failed to show for work at the chamber, and co-workers were unable to reach her, or her husband, on the phone.
They contacted her daughter, who went to check on her at her mother's house on the city's east side.  She told police that when she arrived, the doors were locked.  So she went around back, looked through the window and that is when she saw her mother on the floor in a pool of blood.
The woman called for help, and emergency workers found her father's body in another part of the house.
Investigators were inside picking up evidence for hours, and neighbors gathered to see what happened.  They say the couple did keep to themselves, but were always a ton of fun.  Shelia was known around the neighborhood for giving out small bottles of soda at Halloween.
