A Frankford man called a friend with a confession Monday -- he had shot his girlfriend dead and was thinking about taking his own life.
The unidentified man killed his lady because he believed she was cheating on him, said Philadelphia Police.
Cops went out to the 1100 block of Overington Street to investigate the claim. They found the man with a gun and the girlfriend dead.
They were able to convince the man to surrender and made the arrest.
